Sorry to hear of your mother's passing, Rob. She sure had a busy life. Remember the parties she and your cool dad let us have at the beach back in jr. high school? That was a lifetime ago.

Hi Craig: My mom told me she saw the notice in the paper. I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember her from voting days at Madison when I would walk over with mom. She certainly lived a long, full life didn't she. I'm sure you'll all miss her. Hope you are well.

I was saddened to read of Clara's passing. She was always "Mrs. Emery" to me, the mother of my friend Pat and our Camp Fire leader. My sincere condolescenes to Pat, Robert, Craig and families.

I had the pleasure of working with Clara years ago in the Snohomish County Republican Women's Club. She was the president, I was the secretary. She was a wonderful lady; I learned so much about politics from her. My sympathies are extended to her family.

Wonderful woman who I had the pleasure and privilege to know and share with. Witty, smart, and compassionate. She leaves a light behind, Geoff Shelton

As the Chapter Regent for the Marcus Whitman Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution in Everett, Washington, we extend our extreme love and heartfelt sympathy to the family of our dear Clara. She had been a member of our chapter for 75 years, and we were proud to honor her with a DAR spoon on her anniversary, and then again honor her at our Chapter's Centennial Luncheon on June 12, 2011. We are so glad that Clara felt like coming. It was truly an honor to have her with us so long. She will be missed and was VERY LOVED. God has truly received one of his most valiant angels back into his loving hands. Candy Thoreson
