Claudia Summers Obituary

Claudia Summers passed away peacefully in her home on January 12, 2015. A very special loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and mentor/mother figure to many. Claudia enjoyed her family, shopping, watching Tiger Woods play golf, playing Bingo, and watching her sons and all of the Everett Firefighters Boxing Team compete at many levels of competition. Claudia was truly an inspiration to all who knew her. Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, Red Stults and Genevieve Gray and a son, Bart. Claudia is survived by her sisters, Carol Sakellerion and Schelly Kealy; brother, Rollin Campbell; daughter, Glenny and husband, Rick Mallory; son, Bret and wife, Connie Summers; and son, Todd and wife, Kelly Summers; her grandchildren, Kyle, Beau, Kelsey, Jamie, Taylor and Hailey. A Celebration of Claudia's Life will be held at the Everett Elks Lodge, 2802 Hoyt Avenue on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 6 p.m.

Our condolences to the family. We had some good times when she would visit us in Az. on her way with Hugh or going to see Hugh in Mexico. She had a wonderful wit about her and she always spoke her mind whether you agreed with her or not. If you were her friend you were special.

I reflect upon the past growing up in Marysville and hanging out at the Summers household. Claudia would enjoy hearing stories about what the boys were up to and always making funny jokes. It was fun hanging with Todd and Bret and the Family, they always made you feel welcome in their home.
Years later I would see Claudia, she would ask questions, how things going, how's your family
Generally interested in what was going on in your life. Sad to hear of her passing. She raised 3 great children whom I am sure made her very proud.
