Did you know David Nichols? Chances are if you did you will remember him as one of the nicest guys you knew. I met David back in Middle School and was one of his friends there and in High School. Since graduation I have lost touch with a lot of my school friends as we have all been busy going the paths at which life takes us. David was a positive force. He never talked bad of anyone and always had a light friendly attitude towards all that was around him. I recall back in school he used to wear a blue Superman shirt on occasion. I think David was a Superman of sorts. He may not have been able to bend steel with his bare hands or fly, but David upheld the highest morals and was always trying to help people. God was a powerful force in his life. I understand David went to Bible College in Idaho for some time. Without a doubt I‘m sure he left a footprint there and everywhere else beyond. God called him home for a reason, but he will always remain the Man of Steel.

To David's Family,

Zach's phone call today surprised and saddened me. I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. Our family has many fond memories of your boys and mine playing together in the neighborhood in Lake Stevens. I haven't seen David in years, but I still remember his quiet demeanor and big smile!

Please know that my thoughts are with you now and always...
