Weninger March 30, 1945-January 19, 2019 Dennis Michael Weninger passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 from cancer. He was 73 years old. He was born in Devils Lake, ND on March 30, 1945. He graduated from Balfour High School and continued his education by graduating from Fargo College in North Dakota and San Diego Mesa College, in California. Dennis was in the United States Navy for four years serving our country during the Vietnam War. After the Navy he worked for General Dynamics, GDE systems and retired from Boeing as a field engineer. Dennis was a member of many local clubs, the Everett Leisuretime Kamping Society, Mt. Vernon Elks Post #1604 and the American Legion Post #0043. During and after retirement he enjoyed several hobbies, riding his Harley with the love of his life, Sharon, on long road trips and taking in the sights, along with camping with friends and family in their motorhome with the camping club. Most of all he enjoyed working in his shop making things out of wood. Preceded in death by father, Joseph Weninger of Arcola, Canada; mother, Kathryn Weninger of Balfour, ND; father-in-law, Mike Weninger of Everett, WA; mother-in-law, Beth Weninger of Granite Falls, WA; brother-in-law, Steve Weninger of Everett. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Weninger of 32 years; his two daughters, Jami Lentz of Lake Stevens, WA; Cheri Singer of Keene, NH; parent, Mona Weninger of Arcola, Canada; sister, Tina Weinrauch and her husband, David of Lampman, Canada; sister, Betty Jean Degenstein of Marysville, WA; brother, Edwin Catlon of Minot, ND; sister-in-law, Laura Weninger of Everett; sister-in-law, Rebecca Elledge and her husband, Rick of Marysville; grandchildren are Justin and Kayla Lentz of Everett; Hunter Singer of Keene, NH; and Remington Singer of Keene, NH; great grandchildren are Joshua, Payton, Josiah, Joseph; nieces and nephews are Heather and Chris Gibson, Randi and Brent Lyons, Kyle Elledge, Jay Weninger, Katie Weinrauch, and Derek Weinrauch. A funeral is scheduled for Dennis on February 2, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, located at 2619 Cedar St, Everett, WA with a reception to follow at Hensen Hall.
