With profound sadness we announce the passing of Diana, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on August 10, 2021.
Diana Lynn Tucker (Poage) was born December 23, 1959 in Seattle, Washington to Janice and James Poage. Lifelong resident of Edmonds, Washington, Diana raised her daughters, cared for her mother, and retired from Boeing in 2018.
First and foremost, Diana was a dedicated mother. She treasured her children and supported them always. Her big heart and soft hugs made a safe home for many of her children's friends who considered her a surrogate mother. But Diana was specially made for her role as Nana D. She loved her family fiercely and with her whole heart.
Diana came from a large and vivacious family with many cousins and dearest friends. Her friendship circle was a cast of characters from school as well as her long career with Boeing. They were her family and she gave of herself endlessly and unapologetically.
Loving daughter of the late James and Janice Poage. Dear sister of Kari Doi (husband, John Doi). Adored nana of Lillian and Coraline Scott. Loving and devoted mother of Sarah Scott (husband, Jeremy Scott) and Whitney Tucker (husband, Alexander Bird).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a kind deed for a friend or neighbor in Diana's memory, or a donation to one of the organizations that meant a lot to her:
