Donald Sather Obituary

Donald H. Sather

Don Sather, 51, of Stanwood, WA passed away November 2, 2009, following a lengthy battle with Huntington Chorea Disease.
Don is survived by daughter, Robin Sather; son, Curtis Sather; step-son, Troy Hodo; mother, Loretta Noggle; sister, Diana (Tim) Hass; and grandchildren, Dakota and Timothy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his infant son, Travis Sather; brother, David Sather; and his step-father, Cecil Noggle.
Don loved rock and roll music (especially Pink Floyd!), playing the guitar, bowling, working on cars, and many outdoor activities. He had an abiding faith in God and knew he would eventually see his infant son again, and both he and Travis would be healthy and happy.
Don was a good 'big brother', always protective of his siblings and he loved to spend time with his children and other family members. We will dearly miss him.
A private family service is planned.

My son was always very special to me. I will always miss him. He was always concerned for my well being. We had alot of fun bowling together with my daughter Diana when he was able. He always looked forward to his weekly frozen mocha that we would bring him. I have alot of good times to remember and I'm happy about that and will always treasure them. I'm glad he is not suffering any longer and I know he is in God's memory and will be made all healthy and happy. I look forward to seeing him again. I love you Don.(put in for me by my daughter)

We will miss Don so much. He has always had a special place in our hearts. We were lucky enough for him to have come to our home to celebrate Holidays with our family the past few years. Bill was also able to get to the hospital to see him as well. Until we meet again. Love Bill and Cheryl Hodo
