Donald Williamson

1938 - 2026

Don Williamson was born in Mt. Vernon, Ill. to Leslie and Margaret, the second of five children. He grew up in CA, and joined the Army as a paratrooper in the 82 Airborne Division. He worked at American Standard where he met His beloved Dixie. Together they ventured into hotel and restaurant ownership in Tulelake and Grass Valley CA. Later Don managed Country Clubs, mainly in Western WA for 30 years. In his retirement he volunteered at the police station, local elementary school and at church as well as consulting for country clubs. He loved to travel, golf, cook, and was a wine enthusiast. He is survived by his wife Dixie, daughter Stacey, her husband Jim, grandchildren Ben and Emily and sister JoAnne.
