I love Grace. She is unique, and lovely. My first memory of her was at a Baha'i funeral. She stayed after at the gravesite, alone, and sang the most beautiful song to heaven. I feel that her advice to us would be -- more singing! more dancing!

I had the very enjoyable experience of working with Grace for seven years in a program that assisted homeless families. I willl always remember Grace for her generous spirit, her compassion for those suffering the hardships of homelessness, her love of children, and her unforgettable laugh. She enriched the lives of all of us who worked with her. My condolences to her family during this difficult time.

Grace and I worked together for about 4 years helping the homeless. Grace had a special quality of finding the best in others, and even in difficult situations could find something to laugh about that would bring a smile to your face. She loved her son and he was the joy of her life. She had a strong faith that kept her strong and I will always remember with delight her laugh that was pure and joyous.

Grace and I worked together for over a year at Denny Center, she was a very special person who helped a lot of people and will be very missed. I always appreciated her compassion and kindness to the homeless families we worked with and to staff, she helped me to feel welcome at a new office and I appreciated that so much. My thoughts are with Abbas who she spoke of often. Sara Holbrook, Seattle, WA

Grace and I worked together in the same office for five years, helping the homeless. She brought much-needed joy and laughter to our office, despite the difficult circumstances our clients faced, and was such a loving, kind, and caring woman to clients and coworkers alike. I learned a great deal from her wonderful spirit and she truly embodied her name. My sincerest condolences to her family and family of friends, she spoke of you so often and of her tremendous love for you all and the joy you brought her. You are in my thoughts at this time...

I met Grace and Marie in Astoria (Tongue Point) in those 60's days. I was a Bahai young youth attending a children's conference in Astoria, OR, and one of our trips was out to TP to meet these people whom had just become Bahai. They both made an impression on me. I lost track of them over the years, In 1988 I reconnected with Grace, when I moved to Renton, and would go to Edmonds/Lynnwood for Bahai Functions on the weekends, or was invited to a mutual friends house. She was always so loving, and kind, and was a great person to talk to. always had something to say, and to educated me on something. Her hugs were not taken lightly, and were welcomed. She just smooshed you in that special way of hers.
She will be missed. I will miss her. One always figure that the friend you met down the road wil be there, while our lives separate and only cross on occasion for the furture. Grace was taken far too soon, I will miss her, deeply and dearly. You will be missed, Grace.
