MUKILTEO - Lee was born on October 9, 1959, in Quincy, Illinois to Almon and Dorothy Gallaher. He was raised on a farm near Liberty, Illinois, and enjoyed the outdoors - hunting, fishing, and especially exploring the local creeks. After graduating from Liberty High School, Class of 1977, he joined the Navy and became a deep-sea diver. After 6 years in the service, Lee settled in Seattle. "I saw Seattle when I was 19, and part of me never left". Lee studied at the University of Hawaii and the University of Charleston. While in college in Seattle, he got into real estate, and founded the Gallaher Group in 2015.
Lee experienced a "paradigm shift" in the early 90's when the poetry started "welling up" inside him. He has penned over 200 poems and a book of poetry, Credo, featuring his poems and original art. Lee was reading the book "Lust for Life" - about the life of Vincent Van Gogh when his adopted Grandmother Helen passed away. "Something ignited inside me - I had to paint - it calmed me". He created over 500 paintings - which can be admired at gallahergallery.org.
Lee was a Reike Master with certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming; Mental and Emotional Release; and Hypnosis. He loved having what he referred to as "salons" where he would have in depth conversations with people about deeper parts of the psyche. It was said of Lee that he could "Navigate life with a clarity that is unrivaled."
WORRY
Alas for every problem
Yes each and every one
There Lies a clear solution
Or simply there is none
Instead of wasting time
On fretting fear and worry
Let us take some risk
Live life
Yes hurry

Lee is survived by his sister Donna Eager, brothers Wayne and Eldon Gallaher, and devoted friend Aaron Williams.

Lee and I loved each other. It is better to have loved and lost. Than to never have loved at all.

My wife, God rest her sole and I loved Lee very much. I remember that we had two homes we had to sell in order for us to move to Virginia. He told us to get out of of the way he would handle it and he did so with ease. Every once in a great while you meet a truly good person we are all blessed to have had him. Not long ago I lost my wife I know she is up there having a drink with Lee listening to him tell her how he was the greatest artist since Pablo Picaso ! Oh God we shall miss him. He and the boys were supposed to meet here in Las Vegas he never made it. God speed my dear friend

I worked with Lee on a number of jobs. He will be missed for his professionalism attention to detail. And a good man. He did not have to say his name when he called me. His strong powered energetic voice Identified him instantly. Thank you Lee. I´m happy to have known you.

The world has lost a very special human. Lee was passionate about helping others live their potential. I had many in depth conversations with him about life and my real estate career. I enjoyed running errands for Lee and learning from him. So so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences go out to his family and close friends.

My deepest sympathies to Lee's siblings, Donna, Wayne and Eldon and certainly Aaron. Those of us blessed to know Lee are left with a void. To celebrate how he poured into us and "help somebody" is my plan.
