Heather Lynn Greer

Heather Lynn Greer

Heather Lynn Greer of Everett died May 11, 2013. She was born in Seattle on April 27, 1971 and graduated from Snohomish HS in 1989. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor.
Heather is survived by her son, Hunter Michaels, whom she loved very much.
She loved spending time with her niece, Samira, at the library where they spent hours reading together.
She is also survived by her dad, Robert Greer; mom and step-dad, Pat and
Michael Carlson; sister and husband, Stacy and Michael Oliver; aunts, Diana Nawfel and Connie Collins; uncle, Chuck Mondy; grandmother, Myrtle Jackson; as well as numerous cousins and other family and friends too numerous to list.
Heather was engaged to a wonderful man, Roy Dawson, who stuck by her through thick and thin, caring for her while she was at home. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Leon and Bacon.
We want to thank all her friends who visited her at the hospital, giving her much comfort and support. We particularly want to thank Chris Gagnon, Tracy Johns, Lisa Everett, Tammy Ellis and Vanessa Jones. They were there for her and we don't know how we would have gotten though this without them.
There will be a celebration of Heather's life on May 31, 2013 starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Firefighter's Hall at 2411 Hewitt in Everett. It will be a potluck so bring your favorite dish to share. We will also be accepting donations in Heather's name for Relay For Life cancer research.
We miss you sweet girl and know you're in a much better place with your Heavenly Father.

I think about you almost every day. And I regularly remind my children of who you are and how important you are. It was unexpected losing you, and the loss if felt by many.

I am grateful to have met you before we lost you. I knew of you in high school but it wasn't until many years later that we finally met and now I know why Lisa has been friends with you for so long. You brightened the room with your humor and caring spirit, even when you weren't feel well. We all live on without you physically here but the memories we all have of your smile, your silliness, and your sincerity stays in each heart you touched. Thank you again for the brief moment we spent together. I don't think I will ever forget Chris asking you if you wanted a milkshake and you belting out, without pause, "my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard." If that wasn't an icebreaker or spirit lifter then I don't know what is. You are loved, you are missed, but most importantly you remain in our hearts.

Heather-we never really knew each other but we had something very special in common...your son. I am very thankful that you brought him into this world. You will forever live on through him. He loved you very much. My heart continues to break for him. You were taken from us far too soon. I promise to continue to help him reach for the stars. Rest in peace.

Heather….kind, sweet and full of life. You were a great friend to everyone and loved by many. You had an infectious laugh and it was impossible not to smile when you were around. Thank you for over 24 years of friendship and going through life's ups, downs and everything in between with me. Every time I think of how much I miss you and wish we had another opportunity to go be goofy in the Target isles, I think of you smiling that HUGE smile in Heaven and laughing. You will continue to live through each of us with our memories and you will never be forgotten.
My deepest and sincere sympathies are with Hunter, Bob, Stacy, Roy, Diane and as well as the rest of the family. What I pray gives you solace and comfort during these difficult times, is knowing how much she knew you loved her and loved you all so much.
