Holly LauraBeth Deierling

Holly LauraBeth Deierling passed from our physical world to the peace of an everlasting life on September 19, 2020, leaving behind an infinite void in our lives. Holly grew up in Snohomish, and lived a lifetime in her short 28 years living in Paris, Seattle and traveling the world.

She is deeply and lovingly missed by her parents, Dale & Kathryn Deierling; her brothers Alex Little, with his wife Bethany Case, and Eric Deierling; her very loved nieces Hali White, Avyn Little and Kyah Little; her beloved Grandpa Dale Deierling; her loving aunt and uncles Linda and Ed Lovejoy, and Dell Deierling; and special cousins Ceci Lovejoy, Christina Deierling and Drake Wilson, along with many other close friends and extended family.

Holly will be forever remembered by childhood friends, her time in France and the many Nordstrom co-workers and friends around the world. After serving on the BP Fashion Board in high school, she was recruited into the Nordy family providing her with many exciting and challenging opportunities for career growth and lasting friendships. Her parents will be forever grateful to the corporate Nordstrom family.

Holly's empathy led her to work for justice for the LGBTQI and BLM movements, even while she fought and struggled for help with her own mental health. To quote Holly "…There is nothing shameful about having a mental illness, and I'm finished listening to messages that say otherwise…"

Holly's passing illuminates the need to address mental health and suicide prevention. Memorials in Holly's honor may be made to the Holly Deierling Memorial Fund with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at: https://supporting.afsp.org/campaign/Holly-Deierling-Memorial-Fund.

Dale and Kathryn, So sorry to hear of Holly's passing. So young. I use to hear a lot about her from her grandmother, Nola. It is never easy to hear of a love one passing, especially a child. RIP Jim Toivonen
