Jims's life was a life of service. He was a scout leader to my son. Jim and I were both employed by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and after retirement, he was the president of our Retired Sheriff Employees Organization. I always appreciated his professionalism and his friendship. God bless his family.

I worked with James at SCSO for a number of years!! He was a great man with integrity. I remember people saying he´s so rigid he´d give his mom a ticket!! Never got get his pumpkin mobile! Lisa Eby

Absolute Gentleman - met him in '73(18?19) when he caught me speeding just before leaving into the Army ('73/'76). Got to know him better after service and later would than see him at Al's Auto Supply(Mary'sville) after he had retired. Wish I had known he had been living in Birdsveiw being today I live not far from there.

His sister Claudia was my best friend. I remember Jim , his sense of humor, his exotic pets (fish) and his charm.
