Jared Charles "Jerry" Karstetter, aged 69, of Edmonds, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born January 26, 1955, in Lewes, Delaware, Jerry grew up to pursue a distinguished educational path, graduating from Lynnwood High School before earning degrees from the University of Washington and Seattle University School of Law.
Jerry is lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Julie, and their daughters, Lauren Petersen (David) and Lindsay Urquhart (Stefan). He was a cherished grandfather to Aubrey, Aiden and Emmalyn. His brother James (Denise), nephews Dustin (Alicia), Nick (Emily) and niece Sarah (Jake) Eschbach also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jared and Chel Karstetter, sister Theresa, and brother Michael.
Jerry's legacy is marked by his profound commitment to his family, his loyalty, and his passion for the law, which guided his professional life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The graveside service with family occurred at Holyrood Cemetery on August 27, 2024 and a Celebration of Life is being held on October 6, 2024.
