This beautiful young woman that seemed to have a spirit to match was my great niece, my sister's grand daughter. My heart and soul are pained by this awful tragedy. I am no stranger to this type of tragedy myself. My thoughts and prayers go out to my nephew, Mark, his wife, and Jourdan's two older brothers, as well as my big sister. May you all find comfort in the memories you will all hold so dear.

Marti I worked with you at the Everett Clinic for years but didn't realize this was your beautiful daughter until I was at her service. I was attending her service in support of a dear friend of mine Kristin Doohan-Jones.I am so so so sorry for your loss I know words could never take away the pain you must feel but I myself have a beautiful daughter and when you spoke on Saturday I couldn't control my tears. Dear Jourdana, my loving niece, today is your 25th birthday. I wish there was some way you could come back to us because our lives now have a empty void that you use to complete with your sweet, saucy, funny, loving ways... Happy Birthday, Jourdana. Miss Jourdan, you left them Beautiful memories. Your Love is still their guide and though they cannot see you You will always be by their side.
Mark, Marti, Derek & Garret, I never had the honor of meeting Jourdan but thru everyone I see that she was a huge impact on a lot of people, from her family, to her friends, to her co-workers, to her patients and acquaintances, your daughter/sister was a sweetheart.
Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief there was deep love.

Jourdan I did not know you very long, but you were such a bright light to work with. This hospital was a better place, because you were here. I know what your family is going through, as I lost my 18 year old brother unexpectedly a little over 2 years ago. My heart goes out to them in this horrible time. Heaven has one more angel above. RIP sweet girl.

I only know of Jourdan through the praise and admiration my wife spoke of her, this young and vibrant, exceptionally bright, aspiring critical care nurse she was blossoming into, here on their unit at Providence.
Such a sudden and tragic loss of life for Jourdan's family and friends to recollect.

There is nothing that I can say that will accurately describe how much I miss you. How much I love you. How amazing you are. Everything about you is beautiful.
I keep checking your guestbook and I just love seeing all these entries. Especially ones that talk about how great of a Nurse you were. I know you would be so happy to hear that. You dedicated your life to helping others. You were a gift to everyone you came in contact with. Love you so much Jourdana. The loss of Jourdan breaks my heart. I didn't know her personally, but know people close to her. I can't imagine what the family is going through at a time like this. I recently lost my brother and know the pain you all must be feeling. I hope that you take comfort in your loving memories of her and know that her spirit lives on through those that loved her. To the family of Jourdan:
Although we only knew Jourdan for about 12 hours she deeply touched us. In August my husband was admitted to CCU Providence for a brain tumor. Jourdan was an exceptional nurse and very professional, she not only helped my husband in his difficult time but made sure I was ok as well. I remember I was so sad that she had the next few days off because she was so wonderful to us. When I saw her picture in the paper I couldn't believe my eyes. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family, your daughter/sister was an amazing young lady. Thank you for the short time our family had with her.

Mark and Marti - I met you early October at the Italian tour in Seattle. My friend and I sat with you at the table eating pasta. I know now we were meant to meet. When I saw Mark on TV, my heart dropped. I am so sorry you lost your daughter. Just please know you have been in my prayers daily.- God brought us together for just a few moments that day in that Italian place, and I do treasure it.
