Joyce Christensen
1939 - 2021

Joyce passed away peacefully in her sleep September 3rd, 2021 aged 82.

She was born January 27th, 1939 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. As the daughter of a USFS Forest Ranger she grew up in Northern Idaho and Western Montana, graduating from Missoula County High School, Missoula, MT.

After moving from Lewiston, ID to Everett, WA in 1972 Joyce was co-owner of MarPac products, a marine window manufacturing company.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Goldie Flodberg of Lewiston, ID, her brother, Wallace Flodberg of Missoula MT, and husband, Charles "Chuck" Christensen.

She is survived by, and will be lovingly remembered by both her sons, Jeff and Curt Christensen of Everett, WA, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, and numerous friends.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the family will have a private memorial service and return her remains to the Lochsa region of Idaho that she held so dear.

Memorial donations may be made to Joyce's favorite charities, Disabled American Veterans, and Cure Alzheimer's Fund.

I was Joyce's hairdresser for ten years or so, over 20 years ago. I thought of her often. I wish I had had the chance to see her before her passing. She was a good client and I thought of her as a friend. I am sorry for your loss.
