Kelly Felton Obituary

Kelly Rae (Hendrickson) Felton fought her way into heaven on November 29th, 2021 after a 5 year battle with cancer. She passed peacefully on her own terms; surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Kelly was born on Monday March 20, 1972 to Kenneth and Judith Hendrickson of Everett, Washington. Kelly graduated from Mariner High School with the class of 1990. She met the love of her life Greg Felton in 1989, she took him on a date in her baby blue 1972 Malibu and the rest was history. Together they planted their roots in Marysville, WA and raised 2 kids Felicia and Brandon.

Kelly was notorious for putting family before herself, known for her quick wit and will be remembered for her strength and sharp tongue. She had a fire inside her (after 2 Bud Lights) that would light up any room.

She would say her grandsons were her reason for living. Kelly was always late, but as long as she got there before Ryan Felton (brother-in-law), she was on time.

She loved watching the Seahawks and Nascar with family and friends. She was a homebody by nature, but loved riding dirt bikes, snowmobiles, fishing, crabbing, going to the casino and gambling.

Kelly lived an amazing life surrounded by her father Kenneth and Mother Judith Hendrickson, sister Kristy (Chad) Zubal, husband Greg Felton (of 33 amazing years), daughter Felicia (Jordan) Salcedo, son Brandon Felton (girlfriend) Jennifer Schoos, grandsons Jaeger and Ryker Salcedo, mother-in-law JoAnn Felton, brother-in-laws Rob and Ryan Felton.

She was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents Noah (Dorothy) Dorris, grandparents Stan (Elanor) Hendrickson, along with aunts and uncles, her father-in-law Leland Felton, niece Jordan Felton and chocolate lab "Bear".

Kelly's family with miss her selflessness, smile, beautiful voice, daily conversations with warm hugs and kisses.

A celebration of life will be held in spring/summer of 2022 - Official date will be posted on Facebook.

Kelly, you were such a fun person & co-worker, and I will forever cherish our conversations walking from the building after work to the parking lot, and even during our breaks & lunches. It was so much fun getting together with our Happy Hour group & so glad you were able to join us for that..your smile & sense of humor was infectious, and you were such a joy to be around. I am so glad that we were able to be friends and co-workers for a brief time & I will treasure the moments we had. Prayers to Greg, Felicia, Brandon and your Family, during this difficult time, as all who knew you try to navigate this time without you.
