Linda Jeanne Brown (Mounsey) age 78 passed away peacefully on August 20th 2021 after a long battle with heart disease. She was a loving wife of 58 years devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother.

Born in Portland Oregon to Virginia Ross and James F Mounsey. They moved to Bremerton Washington and then settled in the Shoreline area. When Linda was 13 her father died unexpectedly and she helped raise her three brothers in the family's half-finished home. She was in the first full graduating class at Shoreline High School.

While cruising with friends in Arlington she met her soulmate Howard they were married in 1961.

Howard was a farm boy at heart and Linda was an avid sports fan. She followed their childrens and grandchildrens sports all over the country. She was a dedicated volunteer, was on a bowling league, a Mariners faithful, and a Seahawks 12. Family was the most important thing in her life and she made every holiday special.

We believe that Howard was waiting for Linda in the driveway in their beloved '47 Ford as she passed.

She will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard(1939-2019) and is survived by their children:Ken(Jeryl), Dennis(Joan), Lisa(Kevin) and Christy. Her Grandchildren:Christa, Shannon(Ray), Kyle(Bekah), Meredith(Donny)and Michael.

Her great Grandchildren: Miranda, Ella, Kinley, Halle, Gracie and Asher.

In memory donations can be made to the Getchell Fire Department,Providence Hospice Care and/or the charity of your choice.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a future date.

I am so sad and so sorry, Lisa and Christy. Your Mom was always so nice, funny, and kind to everyone. Her smile was contagious and she was a complete joy. Sending love to you and your family.
