My loving wife and Mother to our children found her way back home into the arms of Jesus after a long, strong, private battle with cancer. Lisa departed peacefully & pain free June 10th, 2024, at our home together in Stanwood, WA at 39 years young.
Lisa was a loving and caring mother of Eduardo, age 2 and her stepson Noah, age 11. Her boys were her life and gave her strength to have a normal life while doing everything she could to combat this disease.
Lisa was born to Dale L. Draper & Stacy L. Willcutt. She was a happy child and excelled in school. Travel was her passion. She was twice, a Student Ambassador with People to People to several European countries while in high school. She loved band and played flute and saxophone. Jazz band was her favorite because it didn't involve marching. She never could march and play her instruments, so she grandly carried the flag.
Graduating from Lakewood High School 2003, she went on to study business at Western Washington University. She graduated early with her degree: Business Management Information Systems and a minor in Economics. This excelled her into an ever-evolving aviation company and eventually landing at Mid-Mountain Materials in Arlington, WA in 2021. Her ability to use Excel was exceptional.
Lisa and I, Isaac Mendez Alvarez met in 2018 and our relationship grew deep. We married on the beach at Kayak Point September 8, 2018. She was my love, my life. Lisa's travel bug took me to places together that we loved with our boys. Our short life together will always be cherished, close to my heart and the hearts of our boys.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Isaac, her sons Eduardo and stepson Noah. Parents: Dale (Jenny) Draper and Stacy (Fred) Willcutt. Her brother Fred Willcutt, Sister Katie (Willcutt) Grimm, Stepbrothers Nathan Pinkney, Jordan Smith, Isaac's family, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, work families and lifelong friends.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you." Jeremiah 29:11-14
