Mark Oscarson Obituary

Feb. 28, 1982 - Oct. 28, 2015 Mark Oscarson, 33, passed away on October 28, 2015 at Providence Hospital in Everett, Wash. He was born on February 28, 1982 in Oak Harbor, Wash. Mark enjoyed cars, sports, and being active. He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and brought smiles to those around him. He was a very lighthearted and selfless individual. Since he was diagnosed with LCH in 2005, he fought with all he had until the day he passed. He remained positive and humble throughout his struggles with his disease, but in the midst of it all, Mark made it his goal to keep everyone together and taught us to love stronger and cherish every moment. His passion for family and friends was inspirational which made him such an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his family: wife, Violeta; daughter, Kiana; parents, Allan and Nelly; sister, Rosalie; uncle, Rolando; aunt, Susan; nephews, Jayden and Amare; and niece, Aliyah. His services will be held at Solie Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. on November 1, 2015 followed by a Celebration of Life gathering.

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was a fine young man, father and husband. He was always willing to help out in Kiana's class whenever he could. I always appreciated seeing him and his positive spirit. May he rest in peace.
