Matthew Perhatch Obituary

July 2, 1942 - December 10, 2018 Matthew Perhatch III, 76, of Everett, WA, passed away on December 10, 2018. Matt was born on July 2, 1942 to Matthew II and Lillian (Jaroscak) Perhatch. He grew up in Monroe, MI and graduated from Monroe High School in 1960. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1960-1968. While stationed at Whidbey Island he met Cheryl Rankhorn. They were married in January 1964, and married for almost 55 years. They enjoyed traveling the country, searching out restaurants seen on TV. Matt was also a car enthusiast and liked collecting antiques. He worked for 40 years as a manager and service technician for SCM, Profit Systems & Kelly Business Machines. Matt is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of 54 years; son, Matthew Perhatch IV (Dawny); and daughter, Michelle Durant (Michael); six grandchildren: Matthew V, Hayden, David, Keegan, James and Natalia; brother, Mark Perhatch (Chere) from Monroe, MI; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: BoysTown.org or a charity of your choice.
