Michael Burrows Obituary

Michael Frederick Burrows died September 15, 2024 after a courageous 8 year battle with ALS. He joins his wife, Camille in heaven after nearly 4 years without her by his side. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Kershaw. He is also survived by his son Tom Burrows (Cindy), his daughter Kim Thomas, his son Ryan Burrows (Kristin) and his son Tim Burrows (Bree). He is survived by eleven grandchildren.

Mike was born on September 13, 1944 in Seattle, WA and was raised in Yakima, WA, the son of Fred and Betty Ann Burrows. Mike graduated from the University of Washington and was a lifelong Husky fan. He began a career in Accounting and spent the majority of his working years as the CFO for PAC in Redmond, WA. He forged many close friendships with his co-workers and was a highly valued member of the Leadership Team.

On June 12, 1965 Mike married his high school sweetheart Camille Vetter. They eventually moved to Woodinville, WA in 1977 where they raised their 4 children before moving to Camano Island, WA in 2000. He spent the last 4 years in the care of his children in Kenmore, WA and Spokane, WA before spending his final days at The Gallery Assisted Living Community in Spokane. He was a very popular guy at The Gallery where he made many new friends.

We will truly miss him but are comforted that he is not suffering any longer and that he is beside the love of his life again.
