Moises Esparza Obituary

Moises Esparza April 10, 1927 - February 14, 2023 Moises "Mo" Esparza, husband of Veldora, was born in Mayfield, Kansas, to José and Cesarea Esparza. He was their oldest son and the second of six children. After serving as an Army mechanic, in Okinawa at the end of WWII, he began a lifetime career at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. Veldora and Moises were married almost sixty-six years and lived in Wichita until moving to Everett in Washington State. After retiring, he continued his love of working on cars, watching sports, and reading (Mo was an avid book reader since boyhood). His parents preceded him in death, as did his sisters and brothers; Lucy, Angel, June, Carmen, and Alex. He is survived by his wife, Veldora, and their children, Martin, Justin, and Valerie, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to a children's literacy charity in his honor.

Mo was a special colleague and mentor to me. I learned many life lessons from him by just observing the manner in which he handled his crew and the daily work of a flight line manager. I don´t remember ever seeing him angry or curse....unless you want to count his most memorable response to bad news : "Well sheep dip!" God speed, Mo..
