Monica Schlagel Obituary
She was born on May 17, 1955, in Arlington, Washington, to Orville and Ardell Burke.
Monica is survived by her devoted husband, Gary; her eldest son, Justin, and his wife, Vanessa, along with her beloved grandson, Carter; and her youngest son, Zachary, and his wife, Haley, as they await the arrival of her second grandchild, Finnick.
She also leaves behind her sister, Rhonda, but goes to join her parents, Orville and Ardell, and her brother, Kelly, in eternal rest.
Monica was a fun-loving spirit who cherished time with her family and dear friends. She loved meeting up with her girlfriends - whether for happy hour, casino-hopping, or a little harmless mischief wherever it might lead. Her joyful presence could light up any room, and she had a remarkable knack for making everyone feel welcome.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever remember her warmth, humor, and zest for life.

Monica and I were great friends and have spent many hours talking, laughing, having a Margarita (or two), and just spending some time together whenever we could. She was like a sister to me.
I, like so many, will miss her more than I can express.
My Love, Thoughts and Prayers go to her Family.
