I would like to let you all know that Paul was a great friend. The world seems very lonely now without Paul. He was one of the proudest people I have ever met. He was so proud of his family, especially his daughter, April. I have never met anyone in my life that always talked so highly of their family; and he idolized his brother Dan. I will never forget the last time I saw Paul at the street fair in Arlington last summer; he greeted me with a smile from ear to ear. Seeing him just made you feel better. We all loved Paul very much. He will be missed, and never forgotten.
I will see you again some day, my friend.

My heart goes out to the whole Bocian family.
I grew up with Paul we met in the 3rd grade. We quickly became best friends.I have alot of great childhood memories with Paul. We loved to go fishing, ride bikes, and go frog hunting. We remaind best freinds thru high school. We both started families and as time went on we drifted apart, only to see each other on occasion. It crushed me yesterday to hear that he had passed away. Life is too short.
I will miss you Paul.

Dearest Bocian Family,
I knew Paul for a few years in my life, he was a smiley kinda laughy guy. he loved his family very much.
I recall a holiday dinner, April put a black olive on each of her fingers and ate them off one by one.Her uncle Dan asked her "who taught you that?" she repiled with a smile "Daddy!". This is a simple example of the precious moments he spent with his daughter, and I'm sure that moment will always be priceless. I lost my wife four years ago to breast cancer and my son at that time was 9, I know of your pain. God love you

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to the whole family.
Especially to Paul's daughter April. I was not a close friend of Paul's but I knew who he was and I grew up in the Swans Trail area myself. I am also the class of 1985 from Snohomish. This past summer we had our 20 year reunion and I do not remember if Paul was there or not. There was a lot of people there. It's really hard to lose someone who is so young and has so much to live for but is taken so soon. My thoughts are with his family and close friends.

I have known Paul for about 25 years. We lived close by each other and pretty much grew up together. We hung out together a lot. Like myself Paul was a car guy he owned a 1969 pontiac GTO convertable and a 1969 pontiac custom S convertable. I owned a 1972 chevelle convertable. We would cruise around together a lot. Those were the best of times. Since Paul was the "Pontiac guy" and I was the "Chevy guy" we could get into some interesting discussions about it(all in good fun of course). I considered Paul to be my best friend. He was so smart and funny. He could make you laugh when you are down, and would listen if you needed to just talk to someone. I used to house sit for him when he and his family went on vacation. He trusted me a lot and that made me feel good. Words can't describe the pain I am feeling inside from Paul's passing. I felt I have lost a piece of my heart and soul that I will never get back. I love you Paul and I WILL see you again. And to the Bocian family and his fiancee Christine, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. SHANE
