1954 was the year I met Polly .& Ed when Gordon & I arrived from Egypt....we were rather reserved with one another at the beginning but later became good friends. Polly helped me with my cross stitch but she really was the master. What beautiful pieces she embroidered . She was a considered, outspoken, & family lady.. I shall miss her a lot & miss Ed's sense of humor.... Sorry Jean & family for your tremendous loss. Love

Polly, a uniquely accomplished woman. A cheerleader in HS. Always a basketball fan.She fought for and married the man of her dreams. That was Ed. We dropped the Aunt & Nephew titles many years ago. It was a good close relationship that matured over time. I I am proud to be in this close relationship, with Polly and Ed, and to have shared in it, in a small way. Damn, I
will miss them both, golf, fishing, or a strong scotch on an afternoon ovrlooking the green. Goodbye my dears, with more love than you will, know.

Dear Jean, Jonathan, Maggie and Abby,
thinking of you all and hoping that you eventually find solace in many fond memories of your parents and the very important part they were in your life.
I remember the nicest neighbors for many years and a very caring orthodontist of my sons.

What an amazing, special lady, Aunt Polly was . Your parents were so special to me, not only being my Great Aunt and Uncle, but proudly they were my God Parents. Over the years, all the special conversations we had, from embroidering to canning to sewing , to fishing to family ancestry. I will miss those conversations, but hold those we had, dear to my heart.
What an amazing love story they had. I will miss them both, but I know they are together forever.

Ed and Polly were the sweetest couple. They would come for lunch in my cafe. Ed always wanted the tuna sandwich. I'm so sad to see them go. I'm glad they are together again. So sorry for your loss.

These past many years, I grew to appreciate Aunt Polly as a very kind and wise woman. I know that her loss must be very difficult for all who knew her, and especially Jean and her lovely family. Love to all of you.

Dear Jean, Jonathan, Maggie and Abby:
I'm thinking of all of you at this sad time, but know that your Mom and Dad were the greatest friends to me and my family. I cherish our years at Oso-our Saturday night steaks BBQ'd by my Bob, and our "shrab and crimp" salads. Oh how we laughed. You and your family are precious to me and my family. I love you my Godchild, Jean.

Dear Jean, Jonathan, Maggie and Abby:
I cannot believe what you all are going through. Just know how much your Mom was loved by so many people.
We go back to 1950+ when our husbands became Winter/Summer flyfishermen.
I will never forget our Saturday night dinners at Oso; our "shrab and Crimp salads". Oh, how we laughed. I am so proud to be Jean's Godmother....she is the sweetest. Love and prayers to all of you at this sad time.
