She loved playing her cello and was a member of the Baroque Quartet and Spokane Symphony Orchestra. Phyllis also taught cello lessons.

Phyllis was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, colleague and friend to so many during her long life. She was smart, compassionate, congenial, funny, loving and encouraging to all.

So many wonderful memories of Phyllis, mostly through music. First met her when we were in the Spokane Symphony together in the 1960´s. Many of us drove up from Moscow and Pullman. Also knew Lloyd through her. She was also part of a trio we heard often. Later we were members together of Sigma Alpha Iota alumnae group in Spokane. An incredibly wonderful, warm, talented and gracious woman. Loved her so much
