Renee passed away suddenly Saturday, January 9th after several years of increasing illnesses. She was cared for by her husband, Dennis, with help from her sisters, Stephanie (Rob) and Teresa (Gary), and visits from home health care nurses.
Renee was born in Everett, WA, to Frederick and Luella Dickie. She was the oldest of three daughters, all three of which worked in the family owned business, Dickie's Texaco in downtown Everett. She was a loving Aunt to Tony, Talia (Jake) and Hayden and completely enamored with the "greats" in her family, Hunter and McKenna. Renee leaves behind her cousins Jessica, Jennifer, Helen and Scott; as well as dear friends Erma, Julie, Jon and their families.
Renee was a recently retired employee of Tam Engineering and Titus Will Automotive Group of Tacoma. After 44 years there, she considered many of her co-workers and friends her "other family," and spoke of them with true affection. It was Renee's way to connect with hearts rather than names. She will be continually missed but eternally embraced by us all as a most warm and special person.
Renee's families request no flowers or donations, just heartfelt memories shared with a hug, as she would kiss and embrace each of you. Our hearts are saddened, but her spirit is free in each of us and our fondest memories.

I didn't know Renee passed, until we acquired Tuggs, who was rescued by a neighbor. I have to say, he is doing better, Renee would be happy. He has lost weight.. And he is in a good home. RIP Renee. You were a kind and loving person.

Renee was the oldest sister of my high school best friend. I thought she was so cool with her artistic flair, but she went to college, then married and started her own life. Whenever I saw her, which was infrequent, or heard about her, I was sorry to not know her better as adults. I always admired her, though, and her interests and pursuits. She and Dennis always had the cutest dogs! Her loss is immeasurable, but I am certain she is sprinkling her love and humor through the nightly stars to all who love and miss her.

You will be greatly missed Renee. Thank you for all your love and support of your niece Talia and nephews Tony and Hayden. Also, thank you for all the love and joy you shared with the 'grands', Hunter and McKenna. You are loved and will be missed by many.

My fondest memories are of your family and ours in the many events we shared. Renee always had a twinkle in her eye, a story to tell and a warm and gripping hug.
I will forever remember my last phone call with her as we talked of a trip to warm and tropical Hawaii where she talked of the ocean.....I was able to honor my sweet friend recently.
