Robert Adams Obituary

Robert "Uncle Bobby" Adams of Kettle Falls, passed away on March 28, 2015 at the age of 85. Bob was found under a rock by Victor G. and Hazel L. Adams on August 12, 1929. He spent his early days in Maltby with his siblings; Charles, George, Shirley, Patricia, Lucy, and Victor. A welder by trade, Bob had many career accomplishments. Including the start and completion of the north Cascades Highway and the Vantage Bridge. He retired in 1988 from the Operating and Engineers Union, Local 302. After retirement, he moved to Kettle Falls where he met many special people including his best friend Ray. He inherited his love of rocks, gems and minerals from his father and was often found searching for the next treasure. If you knew him, you would know the kind-hearted person that he was. He would give you his time, his lunch or his coat. Robert is sucseeded by his children; Michael, Michelle and Heather; his grandchildren, Demrie, Hyatt, Cruz, and Cash; As well as his sister; Patricia, and brother; Victor. Along with many nephews, nieces, friends and family. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of the life of Bob will be held from Noom-3 p.m.at The Maltby Community Club, 8711 206th St SE, Snohomish, WA on Sunday, May 17, 2015. It will be a potluck, so please bring a dish. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you Pay it forward by doing a random act of kindness.
