Robert Blacker Obituary

Robert "Bob" Verlin Blacker (RV) was born in Cicero Wa on January 29, 1935.

Bob spent his years growing up in beautiful Oso Washington where his free time was filled with enjoying the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking etc. Bob joined the Army and proudly served our country as a Sergeant for 2 tours of duty. After leaving the Army, he became a well known semi truck driver.He drove everything from tankers, to concrete, to owning his own log truck. Bob was a hard worker and always known for his strong work ethic, he was a responsible father of 6 kids and proudly cared for his family. Sadly Bob passed away on December 10th with his family by his side as he peacefully went to join his wife Dorene Blacker, his daughter Patricia (Blacker) Rasmussen, mother Maude Armstrong, his step father Albert Armstrong, his brother Jack Blacker.9

Bob leaves behind his sister Nina Charlson, her husband Rick & their son Jake, his sister in law Joan Blacker & his neice & nephew Bob & Barbra. Bob is survived by his 4 daughters: Jenny Lynch, Julie Blacker, Margaret Nations, Carol Andrade & his son Stephen Blacker. He also leaves behind 15 Grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.
