I still think of you nearly every day. Especially on Sunday night because our special day out was Monday. God I miss you.

I will never listen to Frank Sinatra (especially You make me feel so young) a song we both loved and sang together, or hear Chuck Mangione The Land of Make Believe, or see Star Trek, without thinking of you. How I love when my thoughts run, to the Land of Make Believe, where everything is fine. ....forever. I hope you found that place Danny. I'm in Seattletown and I miss you so much. I will never forget you.

Over the years I didn't see Dan often at all yet his memory is still strong. So many good times in High School and those weird times. A good man, A memorable man.

This news saddens me so much. Dan and I both lived on Lake Ballinger in Edmonds. We didn't spend much time at each other's homes.

But we were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts together in grade school, then junior high school. Our interests began changing in junior high, though we both practiced in early rock bands with my brother Dave and Steve Mueller. And even before that, I recall how the four of us pretended to play rock instruments with broken tree branches at our final Scout Camp together. I also recall how creative and fun Dan and Steve were in rewriting some Beach Boys and Jan and Dean lyrics.

Years later, when my family and I ate at a restaurant in Lake Forest Park, Dan was tending bar. We chatted a bit, and that was the last time I recall spending any time with him.

His spirit lives on with me in fond memories of those times so long ago.

My heart goes out to your families. He definitely will be missed! I graduated with Dan and have good memories of him. In 68 a group of us took the ferry to Victoria for the day and had a blast!
