I was looking up my old friend Bob, last Sunday 11-24-19 and came upon 'this' sad news of his passing. And with Thanksgiving coming Thursday, I'm giving thanks for the good times I shared working with Bob; at the Seattle Parks Department in the 80's and 90's, countless times he invited me to his home in Mountlake Terrace and the times we shared on many road trips around Seattle and beyond. Rest in peace buddy - I miss you more than ever now.

Sorry to hear of this loss. I always went away with a smile & a laugh or two whenever I ran into the Metcalfe boys - esp. Bob. May you find peace in your heart at this time.

Nooooooooo! Bob made me laugh and laugh and LAUGH! Gave me and my brother, Jeff, a ride to school every single morning when we were seniors and Jeff was a sophomore. Cut through Washelli Cemetery, always listening to " A Horse With No Name". What a light he was!
