Our sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. We will miss our friend. He was a very special and talented person that could fix or repair almost anything. We hope that you can find peace in the thought that he has no more pain. I really don't know what to write. I have conveyed many of the normal sympathy verses, but it does not seem to be enough. Words cannot always ease the pain of a loss of one that was so loved and admired. The one thing you should remember in this time of grief is that you have many friends and family that love you and will be there for you when you need us. God Bless your family and comfort you.

You had a tremendous impact on this young aviator nearly 40 years ago, and I will be forever grateful for the lessons you taught me -- in and out of the cockpit.
God's speed on your final flight, my friend.

Bob is one of my fondest memories from my days as a student pilot of his father, Bill. Bob had a way with humor that was so unique. I know that if he was anywhere near as good as his father at flight instruction, he had to be awesome!.....I'll bet he was.
