Ron & I were good friends back in the Cruzing Colby days of the 1960's. We were involved in drag racing, mostly at Arlington Drag Strip. In 1962 he bought a 409 Chev ( he worked for a Ford dealer). I bought a 406 Ford. We raced each other until we figured out how to run in different classes. Ron was best man at my wedding. We met my wife Carol cruzing Colby. He came out 2nd in that "race". Carol and I have been married for 58 years and still have that 406 Ford.

Condolences to Ron's family on the passing of Ron. It has been many years since we last saw each other but have fond memories of Colby Cruising in our muscle cars of the early 60's.
