Ronald Matson Obituary

Ron was born in Alberta Canada and moved as a child to Lynnwood, becoming a long-time resident. He passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinsons. He is preceded in death by parents Al and Irene Matson and sister Doreen Ewig. He leaves behind wife Mary Matson, brothers Darryl and David Matson, nieces, nephews and stepsons. Ron graduated from Meadowdale High School and Everett Community College. He was always active and interested in many things. An auto mechanic by trade, Ron loved his tools, having multiples of each. He went to numerous car shows, taking countless pictures. Once a small plane owner, Ron loved to fly, going to air shows and always taking pictures. Dirt bikes, motorcycles, boats, campers were items he owned and enjoyed. Photography and collecting were huge interests. He loved his many dogs. There will be no services. Ron's ashes will be spread in his favorite places. At peace now, Ron will be deeply missed. May 31, 1949 - March 19, 2022
