I met Ryan over 20 years ago as a coworker. We quickly learned we shared a passion for the outdoors, hot rod, harleys and work. Yes work, I admired Ryan's passion for his chosen trade. As a tradesman he was well respected among his peers. Any job anywhere any time described Ryan professionally. As a friend he will be missed for his sense of humor. Ryan was always to recognize and point out irony in a situation even if it meant the joke was on him at times. He was equally quick to point out if the joke was on Neil or Kevin as well. I know he will miss them too. To the family and friends I share in your sorrow. To Ryan I love and miss you man. Thanks for the memories. M.N.

I´ve known Ryan from the time He was a young boy.Camping, fishing, crabbing on Camano Is. Where the best of times.I was proud to help Ryan get in the Sheet Metal Union and over the years heard great things of his work skills.
I´m shocked and saddened for the loss by all and especially the Schei family.Though over the years our paths have become distant you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. May you find peace in knowing that God has taken him to Heaven as we know he was loved by all . Your family friend Darrell Holland

As far as I'm concerned Ryan achieved being an expert sheet metal worker years ago. He is the best custom metals installer that I've ever worked with.

I met Ryan back in 2003 when I moved here from the eastside. We worked together and quickly became friends. He was one of my best friends. He always had my back and helped me without question. I was always welcome at his house. I carry many great memories of riding boating crabbing clamming and hours of enjoying his company. I´ll miss his wicked sense of humor. Most of all I will miss the love he gave me as a brother. My deepest sympathy to Ryan´s great family. He has left us way to soon. I have been blessed to have had him in my life

Sonia and Steve,
I have no words that could begin to comfort you other than I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
May you find comfort and peace in the memories you hold and in the eyes of Ryan´s children, whom I know you love so much.
My thoughts are with all the Schei family.
Love,
Peggy King
