Sandra Ann Jensen, lovingly known as "Sandy," passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 83 years of age.
Sandy was born on May 12, 1942, in Tacoma, Washington, to Bill and Ruth Clampitt. She spent her childhood in Lake City, where she graduated from Lincoln Highschool.
In 1962, Sandy met the love of her life, Dwight Jensen. They married on June 4, 1965, and together built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. They began their family in Lake City, welcoming three children: Brandon, Victoria, and Chad. In 1976, the family moved to Woodinville, Washington, where Sandy and Dwight planted deep roots in their community and raised their family in a close-knit and loving home.
Sandy's greatest joy came from her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her children meant the world to her, and her life was a shining example of unconditional love, compassion and quiet strength. She was the heart of the family, always present, always caring and always giving. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Dwight Jensen of 60 years; her children Brandon (Michelle) Jensen, Victoria (Shawn) Jensen, and Chad (Andrea) Jensen; her 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and her brother Larry Clampitt (Mari) as well as many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Sandy's legacy is one of love, family, and community. Sandy's home was a place of comfort and welcome - not just for family, but for neighbors and friends alike. Sandy made everyone feel like they belonged.
A celebration of Sandy's life will be held September 14 @ 1:00 PM at the Crystal Lake Lodge located at 23909 Crystal Lake Rd. Woodinville WA 98077.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Evergreen Hospice.
