To the family of Sharon, we are so sorry for your loss. We were neighbors of your parents for many, many years in Lynnwood, and just learned of your mom's passing. We moved from Lynnwood in 2021 but was able to once visit at her assisted living facility. Sharon and Charlie were such a loving couple who beamed of joy when talking about their family. Sharon was a kind and gentle soul who always welcomed a quick chat when we would drop by. May the fond memories of your mom and dad bring peace and comfort to you always .

Oh my, I just found out about Sharon's passing. I first met Sharon years ago when she joined WW and became a member in my workshop. She was such a special woman, kind and genuine; and I enjoyed her immensely. I always loved seeing her come through the WW door and being a part of our meetings. I will miss our conversations; I will miss Sharon! Blessings to you, dear lady! Linda Burbank

Thanks for this wonderful history of Sharon's life, Connie. Your parents were such good friends to all of us in BNSF Veterans/Alumni.

My sincere condolences to all the McFarland family on the loss of a wonderful person. I met Sharon (and Charlie) through working at H&R Block. We worked together for many years, and it was always a treat to be assigned to the office the McFarlands worked in. When I was getting ready to stop doing taxes, I remember Sharon told me "...H&R Block has a great retirement plan! You don't get any money, but you don't have to come to work!" We didn't stay in close contact after the H&R years, but we did run into each other occasionally at Sears or such. Truly, Sharon was a delight to know, and I know she will be missed by many, many friends.
