Terri Dahl

Terri Dahl, age 79, passed away peacefully on the evening of October 20, 2025, at her home in Shoreline, Washington, just sixteen days before her 80th birthday.

Terri was born on November 5, 1945, in Janesville, Wisconsin, where she lived until relocating to Seattle, Washington, with her son, Steve, in 1966. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life, Les Dahl. They were married on August 14, 1976, and made their home in Shoreline, where they shared 41 wonderful years together before his passing in 2017. In her younger years, Terri enjoyed bike riding and roller skating with her husband and daughter. She also loved gardening, cooking, and taking ferry rides to the beach, where she and her grandchildren spent countless hours collecting rocks and shells. Terri's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, to whom she devoted her heart and time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Charlotte Loveland; siblings, Dianne, David, and William Loveland; her son, Steve Bumgarner; and her husband, Les Dahl. Terri is survived by her daughter, Julie (Derek) Garmon; daughter-in-law, Shelly (Steve) Bumgarner; grandchildren, Courtney, Kristin, Max, Dylan, AJ, Alivia, Jaxson, Tori, DJ and Amanda; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. To the moon, the stars, and back again.
