Thomas Kornelius

Thomas Kornelius&qf& (Rognebakk) Moe&bb&Thomas K. Moe, age 97, went home to be with the Lord November 8, 2000. He was a resident of Warm Beach Senior Community, Stanwood, WA.&pe& His wife, Lillian (Nygard), preceded him in death in 1998. They had no children.&pe&Tom was born in Naustdal Sunnfjord, Norway on June 1, 1903, had two brothes and three sisters who have all passed away.&pe&He is survived by a nephew, John E. Moe of Snohomish; two nieces, Margaret Tornfelt of Redmond and Eldbjorg (Toots) Ekholm of Waitsburg. He came to the USA in 1925 and became a proud American citizen April 10, 1944. He enjoyed his work as a carpenter and craftsman for many years in the Seattle and Everett area and also in Ketchikan.&pe&Tom (together with his wife Lillian) had been a member of Calvary Temple in Seattle for many years and had a heart for missions. They were active in all of the church services until failing health necessitated their move to assisted living.&pe&Funeral Services will be held November 13, 2000 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, Everett, at 1:00pm with interment to follow. &pe&The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Foreign Missions @ Calvary Temple, Seattle.&pe&Friends are invited to meet with the family following the services in the Hospitality Room.&pe&Arrangements under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home, Everett.
