Virgil Lee Corn (Papa) 95, passed away peacefully January 25, 2022. Virgil was born April 9,1926 in El Dorado, Kansas to Floyd and Lillie Corn. He was raised in Wichita where he met and married the love of his life Patricia (Pat) Keating. They moved to Derby, KS where they started their family. In 1969 he was transferred to Everett, WA and the family settled in Marysville. He worked for Boeing for 38 yrs. Retired in 1985 at the young age of 58. He was proud to have worked on the 1st Boeing 747. He took on his passion of photography and competitive shooting which he won many awards and took him many places. But his biggest passion was his family. Papas beloved wife Pat preceded him in death in 2011 and he leaves behind sons Greg, Mark(Sheila), daughter Christine. Grandchildren Brandon, Ryan, Justin, Jason, Amber(Miah), Kataka, Heather, Stephanie and numerous Greatgrandchildren. Virgil was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Assoc. Marysville Rifle Club and Seattle Photography Club. Papa was a gentle, quiet man with a heart of gold who will be greatly missed.There will be a Celebration of Life on Sat. Feb. 19 at 1:00 at Frontier Manor Clubhouse in Lake Stevens.
