George Aguiar, beloved husband of Lynne L. (Lawrence) Aguiar, was born in Fall River, MA on June 11, 1934, and passed into eternal life with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 17, 2020 in Punta Gorda, FL at age 86. He was the only son of the late Anthony and Adelaide (Moniz) Aguiar. eorge entered the US Army, 25th Div., 27th Infantry, Rgt. Wolfhound and proudly served in Hawaii where he expanded his motor vehicle knowledge and skills. Following his military service he worked at at K.R. Rezendes to work with his father at Aguiar and Moniz Service Station, a Fall River Landmark located at the foot of Townsend Hill. He later purchased the business, renamed it as Aguiar's Sunoco, and operated there for many years. George, with his bright smile and his gift for talk developed a huge customer base and his many friends used the station as a meeting place where muscle cars were the favored subject of both conversation and service. George lived with Lynne in Tiverton where they developed their property and worked with his Morgans. George became an accomplished horseman and went on to win many trophies and ribbons. Upon retirement they moved to Punta Gorda, FL. George was always very well liked. He loved working with people and he always welcomed new faces and always had a word for everyone... a trait that he expanded upon his entire life. It began simply as customer service but became a way of life for George. He showed us all that each day is a new opportunity to show kindness to everyone. George is survived by a sister, Mrs. Joseph P. (Dolores T.) Holden of Osterville, MA, his sister, Mrs. Edward (Joan K.) Mello of Tiverton, RI, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. George was a communicant of St. Christophers Church in Tiverton prior to his move to FL. Lynne I'm so very sorry for your loss. George was a good man, probably one of the nicest People I had the opportunity to look up to. And he was a very special person in my dad's life. My father thought the world of you both. He will be missed by many. May God rest his soul.

Our deepest sympathies to Lynne and to George´s Family and Friends. We knew him from his Gas Station and his cousin Richie (Big Mac), he was a wonderful guy, kind and sincere. Let all the wonderful memories you shared get you through the days he will be sorely missed.
