John Camara Obituary

John H. Camara, age 81, passed away on February 23, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late John and Isabel (Correa) Camara. Prior to retirement John worked as a driver for Hiltons Bakery. John leaves behind his sister Elizabeth (Camara) Pleiss (husband Henry Hank) of Fall River; nephews Kenneth Pleiss (wife Louise) and Henry Pleiss III (wife Julia). He also leaves behind 2 great nieces and 3 great-nephews that were very special to him, Tricia Tweedie (husband John), Emily Pleiss, Nicholas Pleiss, Derek Pleiss and Daniel Pleiss. John was predeceased by his nephew Michael Pleiss. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kim Gosselin for being his caregiver for 20 years. They appreciate all of the patience and understanding she had for John. His funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Tuesday at 11 A.M. Interment St. Patricks Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday morning 10 - 11 A.M.
