Russell J. Brillo

Russell J. Brillo, age 86, of Swansea, passed away on March 6, 2021 at Somerset Ridge Center. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Simons) Brillo. Born in Somerset, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Arruda) Brillo. Russell retired as a foreman for Eureka Mfg. for the division of Read and Barton in Norton. He loved to take trips to Tennessee and found enjoyment working on his house. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Rebecca Courcy (husband Paul) of Taunton, Gayle Sircello of Portsmouth, RI and Russell Brillo of Fall River; 5 siblings; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren with one on the way; as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a funeral service on Thursday, March 11, at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, at 11 a.m. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
