Albert Jabo Ferrell

Mr. Albert Jabo Ferrell, 87, went to heaven Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

Jabo was born January 8, 1931 in Rock Hill, SC and the son of the late Charlie Ervin Ferrell and the late Carrie Estelle Pope Ferrell. He was an active member of Sylvia Circle Baptist Church serving in various capacities. He was the owner and operator of Jabo Construction, Inc. from 1975 until April of 2018. In addition to his parents, Jabo was preceded in death by his first wife, Dee Alva Carnes Ferrell; his brothers, Charlie, Jim, and Alex; and his sisters, Lib, Ethel, Margaret, and Shirley.

Services for Jabo will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Sylvia Circle Baptist Church, 1041 Sylvia Circle with Reverends David Khien and Duane Ivey officiating. A private burial will follow the service. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm at the church prior to the service and othes times at the home.

Jabo is survived by his wife of twelve years, Judy Belk Bowers Ferrell; his sons, Dick Ferrell and his wife, Pat, Mike Bowers, and Tim Bowers and his wife, Lisa; his daughters, Sue Howington and her husband, Jamey, Ann Skar and her husband, Gil, and Jennie Vaughn and her husband, Tim; his sister, Betty Horton of Valrico, FL; and his 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
