Rock Hill, South Carolina - Ann Noyes Johnson passed away on November 1, 2021 at the age of 86. Ann was born on September 25, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska. She moved with her parents Col (retired) Edward P Noyes and Helen Steinwender Noyes at an early age to Sewel's Point, Florida, and then Fernandina Beach, Florida. She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School, and attended St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. Ann later married the love of her life, Louis Johnson, Jr. Together they moved to Tennessee, and then in 1959 they settled in Rock Hill, SC. Ann attended York TEC and Winthrop College. Ann was a part-time employee at Greene Funeral Home. In her spare time she enjoyed working in her yard, and taking on projects around her home. She loved to have a good time, and was forever planning a party or entertaining. Her home was the safe-haven for stray cats, who she always had a soft spot for.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons Eric A. (Ted) Johnson, Eliott A. (Ned) Johnson, her daughter-in-law Susan Spahn Johnson, and her wonderful husband of 52 years Louis (Lou) Johnson.
Ann is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Johnson of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughters Jena Myers and husband Kyle of Oviedo, FL, and Jamie Ching and husband Kenny of Kissimmee, FL; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Aaron Myers, Mackenzie Dawn Myers, and Keyonte James Myers of Oviedo, FL. She is also survived by multiple honorary family and friends, including her Godson Jon DeGange and wife Lea of Washington D.C., and her honorary granddaughter Sarah Dickens and husband Jordan of Greensboro, NC.
Ann will always be remembered for her fiery spirit, her incredible strength through tragedy, and her selfless service to others.

I had the honor of working with Ann when she was at the ATC. Her obituary says it all: she was one-of-a-kind! Heaven has gained a new hostess and I am certain that there has been an unbelievable reunion now that she is back with her Louie and the rest of their family! I celebrate her memory.
