Betty Foss Obituary
Betty is survived by seven children, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a sister and three brothers.
Betty was active in her church and its choir, First Baptist Church of Fort Mill. She was involved in numerous community activities including community theater and community chorus. Betty served as an officer in the USAF, worked for the SC juvenile probation system, and retired from the US Census Bureau.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11 am at First Baptist Church of Fort Mill. Internment Crown Memorial Park.
Memorials may be sent to The Robin Foss Turner Scholarship Fund, managed by Edward Jones Investment Company, 998 Riverwalk Parkway, Suite 206, Rock Hill, SC, 29730, care of Michael Penn.

Deepest condolences on the loss of Aunt Betty. Though I only met her once when I was a small child and then corresponded with her briefly in my teens, she left a big impression. Betty will be remembered as cheerful, a wonderful cook, supportive of those in need as well as being good Christian who was the definition of Southern hospitality. Prayers to all her loved ones. May she Rest In Peace.

What a blessing and encouragement Betty was to Peggy and me during our years at FBC, Fort Mill. Her infectious laughter and positive attitude was always an inspiration to me. I will always remember our times at choir practice and those fall retreats. Many blessings to the Foss family at this time.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Betty. She has been a blessing in my life over the years especially after I lost my mom. Aunt Betty became my Mom for Godly answers.
