Chester, Virginia - Miller, Brenda Hill, of Chester, passed away February 11, 2023. She was born in York, SC., on July 27, 1943 and was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Beauregard Hill; her sister, Evelyn Carpenter; and her brothers Gus, Lindsey, James, and Kenny Hill. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Carlee Miller, her sister Joyce Jones, her brother Donnie Hill, her daughters Christian Miller Walker and Corri Miller-Hobbs, and their husbands and children. Brenda was active in the Chester community through her church as well as served as the president of the Curtis Elementary PTA, and for many years as the President of her neighborhood community association. For over 20 years Brenda supported the congregation of St. John's Episcopal Church in Chester as their secretary. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, February 17th at J.T. Morriss & Son, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA. The Celebration of Life will be at 1pm on Saturday, February 18th at the Crestwood Presbyterian Church East site 6627 Jahnke Rd., Richmond, VA, followed by an Interment in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 West Hundred Rd., Chester, VA.
