I worshipped with David and the brethren at Charlotte Avenue from 2000 - 2005. Although my time there was short, David and the brethren there had a profound impact on my life. I just heard today he passed away and immediately there was is an absence in my heart that will never be filled. My heart goes out to you all. Your support helped me through a difficult time in my life and David's sermons still ring in my ears today. David's message titled "WHAT WE STAND FOR" was the most powerful and scriptural one I have ever heard.

RIP MY OLD FRIEND

Sending love and hugs to the Pharr Family from Cynthia Wilson James, the Winthrop student who would have blended in easier at the congregation "across town." But, thanks to David´s faithful stand, Peggy, Karen, Jeff and members of Charlotte Avenue COC, I felt at home and grew spiritually. Forever grateful!
