Tega Cay, South Carolina - Mrs. Gail Cochrane Fite, 70, died Sunday morning, May 2, 2021 at her home.
The funeral will be at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend David McManus officiating. The service will be live-streamed at www.greenefuneralhome.net. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Hollis Lake Road following the funeral.
Gail grew up in Rock Hill, SC and graduated from Rock Hill High School, York Technical College and Limestone College. She worked in Accounting at Apple Computer and the Eutectic Corporation in Charlotte, NC. She was a true G.R.I.T.S and loved vacationing at Hilton Head. Give her Carolina blue skies, surf, sand and beach music. Gail was a loving wife and a fantastic Mom and grandmother. She will be missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Fite; her son, Robert Fite, Jr. of Rock Hill; her daughter, Dawn Furey [David] of Sydney, Australia; two grandchildren, Heather and Connor Furey; her sister, Gwyn Cochrane Henke of Martinez, GA; her brother, Dr. Leonard James Cochrane, Jr. of Piedmont; six nieces and twelve nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ruth Cochrane and her sister Rebecca Marks.
