Helen N. Dill SPARTANBURG - Helen N. Dill, 84, of Spartanburg, S.C., died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 13, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Willie S. Nelson and Emma Wyatt Nelson, and widow of the late Calvin Hoover Dill. Mrs. Dill was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church, retired from AT&T and was formerly employed as an executive secretary at Kohler. Surviving is a daughter, Belinda Jolley and her husband, Steve of Chester, S.C.; three sons, Bobby Dill and his wife, Janet of Lexington, S.C., Nelson Dill and his wife, Sonya of Jefferson, Ga., and Philip Dill and his wife, Glenda of Spartanburg, S.C.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Nelson. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, S.C. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Tim Williams and the Rev. Ondra Black. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roebuck Baptist Church, P.O. Box 490, Roebuck, SC 29376. The family is at the home of her grandson, Tim Dill, 908 Cantey Court, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
